NDLEA Recruitment 2023 Update
The NDLEA has officially launched a recruitment drive for qualified Nigerians who wish to join the organization. This was announced in a statement on Friday, and applications will be accepted from March 12 to April 8, 2023.
The announcement also stated that individuals who have completed secondary school, polytechnic, or university education may apply online. There are barely two weeks left in the application session.
To apply for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth and have a national identity number (NIN). Computer literacy is an added advantage for all positions. Additionally, applicants must possess a valid national identity document, such as a voter card, driver’s license, or passport.

During the recruitment process, applicants must present all certificates since any other qualification presented afterwards will not be recognized for career advancement in the agency. Additionally, applicants must be medically fit and present a certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
For the position of “superintendent cadre”, applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 35 years old at the time of entry. Candidates for the “narcotic assistant cadre” and “narcotic agent cadre” must be between the ages of 18 and 30, nevertheless. For the jobs of “medical doctors” and “articulated vehicle drivers,” applicants over 40 will also be taken into consideration.
Lawyers must have been admitted to the bar, while medical and allied professions must have current license to practice. Applicants must also be drug-free and of good character, without any criminal conviction.
